What is an instructional design course?

Instructional design is the process of using one’s understanding of how people learn to make decisions when designing and developing instruction. An instructional design course will help you to develop an understanding of the learning theories that underpin these decisions, and develop skills that Instructional Designers need to successfully develop engaging and effective learning.

An instructional design course may be delivered face-to-face or online. The duration of an instructional design course may also vary.
